Who we are
The GreenLine trimmer line is a product created through a collaboration between Senbis Sustainable Products BV and Greenable BV. In our fight against polluting plastics, we began developing our 100% biodegradable trimmer line over seven years ago. Greenable BV's experience and expertise in the market, combined with Senbis Sustainable Products BV's innovative R&D work, proved a winning combination. After seven years of development, we launched our first trimmer line in early 2022. Our product is now available at more than 20 dealers in the Netherlands and Belgium, and we plan to expand this across Europe in 2024.

2016
The idea
In 2016, the idea arose to develop a biodegradable trimmer line to combat plastic pollution.
2017
Collaboration Senbis Polymer Innovations
In 2017, we began collaborating with Senbis Polymer Innovations. As experts in biodegradable plastics, they are the ideal R&D partner for product development.
2017
Start development
Development of biodegradable trimmer line begins. R&D in Emmen, production in England.
2021
Production line in the Netherlands
Invested in a full pilot production line in Emmen, to accelerate development.
2022
Launch of first product
We launched our first product on the Dutch market: GreenLine 2.7 mm trimmer line.
2024
Dealer network NL & BE
Our products are available in 20 physical stores across the Netherlands and Belgium.
2025
TÜV 'OK Soil' certification
GreenLine trimmer line is certified, so it can be proven to be biodegradable within a maximum of 24 months according to ISO 17556.
2025
Launch of PowerCore.
PowerCore is our premium addition to our portfolio: a trimmer line made of 97% of our 100% biodegradable compound, reinforced with a 3% steel core. So, maximum performance and 100% biodegradable!
